Account Registration

Eligibility and Age Verification

  • Age requirement: You may open an Account and use the Services only if you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to gamble under the laws of England and Wales and any other law that applies to you. The Operator carries out age and identity verification checks and may request supporting documents before and after activation of your Account.
  • Location: These Terms apply to players located in the United Kingdom who access Monopoly Casino via monopoliic.com. You must not use the Services if you are physically located in a jurisdiction where online gambling is unlawful or where the Operator does not permit play.

Account Creation and Verification

  • Registration process: To create an Account you must complete the online registration form, provide requested personal details (such as name, date of birth, address and contact details), and set a secure password. You may be required to verify your email address and/or phone number via a confirmation link or code sent to you.
  • KYC documentation: The Operator may at any time request documents, including a copy of a valid photo ID, proof of address, proof of payment method ownership, and evidence of income or source of funds. Until satisfactory completion of KYC checks, your Account may be restricted and withdrawals may be delayed or refused.
  • Single Account: You may hold only one Account with the Operator for Monopoly Casino. Duplicate or linked Accounts may be closed, and Bonuses and winnings from such Accounts may be voided, subject to UKGC requirements of fairness.

Player Obligations

  • Accuracy of information: You must ensure that all information you provide is complete, accurate and kept up to date. Providing false, misleading or incomplete information, including regarding your age, identity or residence, may result in suspension or closure of your Account and reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Account security: You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. You must not share your Account or password with any third party or allow another person to use your Account. You are responsible for all activity on your Account unless it is caused by the Operator's failure to take reasonable care.
  • Responsible gambling: You must only gamble with money you can afford to lose. The Website offers tools such as deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion. If you feel you may have a gambling problem, you should stop using the Services and use these tools and external support organisations.

Betting & Gameplay Rules

Placing Bets and Game Participation

  • Game rules: Each Game has its own specific rules, pay tables and minimum/maximum stakes. By placing a Bet on a Game, you accept the rules and payout structure displayed on the Website at the time the Bet is placed.
  • Bet confirmation: A Bet is considered accepted when it appears in your game or Account history and is confirmed by the Operator's servers. If you are unsure whether a Bet has been accepted, you must check your history before placing the same Bet again.
  • Minimum and maximum stakes: The Operator may set minimum and maximum Bet amounts per Game, per round or per player. These limits are displayed within the Games or otherwise on the Website and may be changed from time to time.

Errors, Malfunctions and Cancellations

  • Technical failures: In the event of a manifest error, misconfiguration, software bug, interrupted connection, or other technical failure, the Operator may void or adjust affected Bets and game rounds in accordance with applicable UK law and UKGC guidance. Where possible, game states are restored to the last known correct state.
  • Cancellation and modification: Once a Bet has been accepted, you cannot usually cancel or modify it. In exceptional circumstances, and at the Operator's sole discretion (acting reasonably and in line with regulatory obligations), a Bet may be cancelled or refunded.
  • RNG and fairness: Where Games rely on random number generators, those RNGs are tested and certified by independent testing bodies to help ensure fairness. The outcome recorded on the Operator's systems will prevail in the event of any discrepancy.

Player Conduct and Chat Rules

  • Prohibited conduct: You must not engage in collusion, use bots or automated tools, exploit software errors, or otherwise seek an unfair advantage. You must not use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or terrorist financing.
  • Live casino and chat: Where chat or live dealer facilities are provided, you must behave respectfully. Abusive, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory or otherwise offensive language or content is strictly prohibited. The Operator may monitor, moderate, edit or remove chat content and may suspend or close Accounts for breaches.
  • Consequences of breaches: If you breach the gameplay rules, the Operator may void or withhold Bets, forfeit Bonuses, suspend or terminate your Account and report suspected criminal activity to relevant authorities, subject always to UKGC rules and fairness requirements.

Bonus Terms

Activation and Eligibility

  • Promotional offers: From time to time, the Operator may offer Bonuses (including welcome offers, free spins and ongoing promotions) in connection with Monopoly Casino on monopoliic.com. Each promotion is subject to these Terms and to specific promotional terms displayed alongside the offer.
  • Qualification: Eligibility may depend on factors such as residence, age, Account status, deposit method, and previous promotional participation. The Operator may restrict or withdraw promotions for individual players when reasonably necessary to meet legal, regulatory or risk-management obligations.

Wagering Requirements and Time Limits

  • Wagering obligations: Unless stated otherwise, Bonus funds and any associated winnings must be wagered a specified number of times (for example, 30x the Bonus amount) before they may be withdrawn. Wagering contributions may be weighted differently by Game type.
  • Game weighting: Typically, slots contribute 100% towards wagering, while table Games, live casino or other products may contribute at a lower percentage or not at all. The applicable weighting for each promotion will be stated in its specific terms.
  • Timeframes: Bonuses and related wagering requirements must usually be completed within a specified period (for example, 30 days from the date of credit or 7 days from free spins issue). Any unused Bonus or incomplete wagering after the deadline may be removed, and associated winnings forfeited, in line with the specific promotional terms valid in 2025.

Restrictions and Bonus Abuse

  • Prohibited play: Certain Games or strategies (such as low-risk or hedge betting, equal or zero-risk wagering, or placing disproportionate stakes to exploit Bonus mechanics) may be restricted when using Bonuses. The Operator will clearly set out any such restrictions in promotional terms.
  • Combining promotions: Unless expressly allowed, you may not combine multiple Bonuses or promotions on the same deposit or play sequence. If a conflict arises, the Operator may apply the promotion most favourable to the Player, consistent with transparency and fairness, or decline overlapping offers.
  • Bonus abuse: Bonus abuse includes but is not limited to multiple Account creation, collusion, exploiting errors, or structured play designed solely to release Bonus value. Where Bonus abuse is reasonably suspected, the Operator may cancel Bonuses, withhold associated winnings, and close affected Accounts in accordance with UKGC guidance and consumer protection law.

Payments & Withdrawals

Deposits

  • Payment methods: The Operator may offer a range of deposit methods for UK players, such as debit cards, bank transfers and certain e-wallets or alternative payment services. Credit cards cannot be used for gambling transactions by UK customers in line with UK regulation. Cryptocurrencies are not accepted unless explicitly stated on the Website in future, and only where permitted by applicable law and regulation.
  • Ownership of funds: You must only deposit using payment instruments registered in your own name. The Operator may request proof of ownership and may reverse deposits or withhold funds if ownership cannot be verified.
  • Limits and fees: Minimum and maximum deposit limits may apply per transaction or per period. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you confirm a deposit. Your bank or payment provider may charge additional fees outside the Operator's control.

Withdrawals

  • Withdrawal methods and processing times: Withdrawals will normally be made using the same method used for depositing, where possible. The Operator aims to process withdrawal requests within a reasonable period (for example, within 1-3 Business Days), subject to KYC, security checks and any responsible gambling or affordability reviews required under UK rules.
  • Verification and checks: The Operator may delay or withhold withdrawals until it has completed KYC, source-of-funds, anti-money-laundering and safer-gambling checks. You may be asked to supply additional documentation. Where legally obliged, the Operator may block or freeze funds and report suspicious activity to relevant authorities.
  • Limits and reversals: Daily, weekly or monthly withdrawal limits may apply. The Operator may permit or restrict withdrawal reversals depending on current regulatory guidance and safer-gambling practices in the UK as applicable in 2025.

Refunds, Chargebacks and Balances

  • Refund policy: Once a Bet has been placed, refunds are generally not available unless there has been an error or technical failure for which the Operator is responsible. In such cases, the Operator may refund the stake, reinstate game states, or credit an appropriate adjustment in line with fairness principles.
  • Chargebacks: You must not request chargebacks or otherwise reverse a payment without legitimate cause. The Operator may suspend or close Accounts involved in chargebacks, recover unpaid amounts and charge reasonable administrative costs, subject to applicable law.
  • Inactive and dormant balances: If your Account remains inactive for an extended period, the Operator may treat it as dormant and take steps such as contacting you, applying reasonable administrative fees or eventually closing the Account in accordance with applicable UK rules. Any remaining Real Money Balance will be handled in line with regulatory requirements.

Limitation of Liability

Operator Obligations

  • Service provision: The Operator will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care, maintain appropriate technical and security measures, and operate Games in accordance with its UKGC licence and relevant regulations.
  • Accuracy of results: Game outcomes and Account balances are recorded on the Operator's systems. The Operator will act reasonably to ensure that results displayed to you reflect the outcomes recorded on its systems and to correct any discrepancies identified.

Exclusions and Limitations

  • Events beyond control: The Operator is not responsible for failures or delays caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including failures of telecommunications, internet service providers, power outages, or third-party platforms, provided it has taken reasonable steps to mitigate such issues.
  • No guarantee of winnings: Gambling involves risk and there is no guarantee of profit. You are solely responsible for your gambling decisions. The Operator does not provide financial, legal or tax advice.
  • Maximum liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator's total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Services (whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise) will not exceed the lower of (i) the amount of the Bet or stake placed by you in the transaction relating to the claim, and (ii) your net deposits to your Account over the 90 days preceding the relevant incident. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership of Content and Software

  • Operator and licensors: All rights in and to the Website, including software, source code, databases, logos, designs, text, graphics, audio, video, and other content, are owned by or licensed to the Operator and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
  • Monopoly brand: The "Monopoly" name and associated logos, characters and game elements are trade marks and copyrights of Hasbro, used by the Operator under licence. You obtain no rights in the Monopoly brand or its associated intellectual property.

Permitted Use and Restrictions

  • Personal use only: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Website and Services solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms.
  • Prohibited acts: You must not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Website or its software and content without the prior written consent of the Operator or relevant rights holders.
  • Reverse engineering: You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, interfere with, or circumvent any security or technical measures relating to the Website or the Games, except to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted under mandatory law.

Privacy & Data Protection

Processing of Personal Data

  • Privacy Policy: The Operator processes your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy as updated from time to time and applicable UK data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in line with that Privacy Policy.
  • Purposes: Personal data is processed for purposes such as account administration, KYC and anti-money-laundering checks, responsible gambling measures, payment processing, customer support, regulatory reporting and marketing (where permitted and subject to your preferences).
  • Cookies and tracking: The Website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure and improve the Services. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy and/or Cookie Policy.

Changes to Terms

Amendment and Notification

  • Right to update: The Operator may revise these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, regulatory guidance, technical developments, or improvements to the Services.
  • How you will be informed: Where changes are material and affect your rights or obligations, the Operator will take reasonable steps to notify you in advance, for example by email, on-site messages, account notifications, or prominent banners on the Website.
  • Effective date: Updated Terms will specify their effective date (not earlier than the date of notification unless required by law). Your continued use of the Services after that date will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • If you do not agree: If you do not agree with changes to the Terms, you should stop using the Services, close your Account and withdraw any remaining Real Money Balance, subject to standard withdrawal processes.

Termination & Suspension

Operator's Rights

  • Suspension and closure: The Operator may suspend or close your Account, restrict access to the Services, or withhold funds where it reasonably believes that you have breached these Terms, where required for legal or regulatory reasons (including anti-money-laundering and safer gambling obligations), or where it has reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, misuse or criminal activity.
  • Responsible gambling and self-exclusion: You may request time-outs or self-exclusion via the Website. The Operator may also impose limits, temporary suspensions or permanent closures where it believes this is appropriate to protect you or meet responsible gambling duties under UKGC rules.

Effect of Termination

  • Balances on closure: On closure of your Account (whether by you or the Operator), your remaining Real Money Balance, subject to any lawful set-off, investigation and regulatory requirements, will be returned to you using a suitable payment method. Bonus funds and any associated winnings that have not met the applicable conditions may be forfeited.
  • Ongoing investigations: Where an investigation is ongoing, the Operator may freeze your Account and temporarily withhold funds until the investigation is completed. If wrongdoing is confirmed, funds may be withheld, reversed or confiscated to the extent permitted by law and regulatory rules.
  • Record retention: The Operator may retain records of your Account and transactions after closure where required for legal, regulatory, anti-money-laundering, tax or responsible gambling purposes.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Applicable Law

  • Governing law: For players located in the United Kingdom using Monopoly Casino on monopoliic.com, these Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your place of residence.
  • Regulatory framework: The Operator is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission under licence number 38905 for the provision of remote gambling services to UK customers.
